When I browsed through the internet classifieds in September 2000, I stumbled over this Audi 200 Treser. Although nothing was mentioned in the text, the pictures made it clear: This was one of the rare Audi 200 with Treser parts. The next day I had the fantastic idea to look where the car was for sale: 20 minutes away! So I packed my camera and some films and headed to the dealer. Sadly the car was not as I dreamed it to be. For around 2000 Euro I hoped for a good Treser 200 quattro. But it was no quattro (obviously wishful thinking of my part, as nothing was mentioned in the text). The examination of the car revealed some points. The immaculate interieur had to score against the exterieur: Paint was bad in some small areas, the Treser parts were wraped or cracked, the expensive metric Michelin tires were dead, the windscreen had a big crack (so big it would need replacement) and finally an oil spot under the right engine side, under the turbocharger. The rim covers are not missing, but stored in the car. Well, but the condition should not prevent you from enjoying these pics. | |

| Ouch! How can you drive such a car against a garage?
The Treser rear skirt ist bumped and the rear wing has taken abuse in the past or is warped due to other causes. |
| The flared fenders were done by Treser without additional metal, without welding. They still look ok after 13 years. You can clearly see the professional fastening of the c-pillar cover with two screws! |

| Once again the rear skirt. The protection strips on the side are painted bodycolour as are the rear view mirrors but look a bit spotty, perhaps as they were not sanded smooth prior to painting. |
