A man who stands for converted Audis like no other is Walter Treser. During the 80s he styled and restyled many Audi. Treser chose the One as his symbol. Presumably this had two causes. On the one hand he thereby demonstrated his position as the number one Audi stylist, on the other, the One was Audi's logo before tey fusioned to Auto Union.
There are really different opinions about his creations. Some think they are awesome, some think they are terrible. I think I really like them.
Largo, Liner and
Hunter are fantastic conversions. The Treser quattro Roadster
is interesting on the technical aspect but even on the optical, I learned to like it.

The Treser-wheel: | |

This is the legendary Treser wheel with Michelin tires. The special thing about it is, that it is a metric wheel. The rim size is
210 TR 415, the tires are 230/45 VR 415. Everything clear? 210 is the rim width in millimeters (equals 8.25inches), 415 is the rim diameter in
millimeter (16.3inches), 230 is the tire width and 45 the ratio sidewall height to tire width. |
