Alexander has not only a great collection of car brochures and a cool homepage, he also has a bit of interest in funeral cars. He scanned this picture from a Pollmann brochure.

Pay attention to the rear lights: They are completely integrated into the large rear lid
The brochure text translates to:

"The A6 quattro by Pollmann-
A new face in this class

Pretentious in the right scale - Our vehicle for customers with brains. The Audi A6 quattro has the superior quattro drivetrain which has a tradition at Audi in Ingolstadt. For our A6 quattro we have lengthened the wheelbase by 500mm (20") and offer you a plus in safety during all seasons in every weather. The permanent all wheel drive gives you safe braking on all surfaces [Well, I would rather rely on the stock ABS system!], dynamic acceleration and safe cornering.

It is by design, engines and interieur that our vehicles give you the Vorsprung that made Audi known and is emphasized by our quality. The many stock options can be broadened by a variety options from Audi's and Pollmann's selection. Pollmann-Karosserie stands surety for the high quality standard we deliver and is made possible by the cooperation with the Audi AG.
Behind the co-driver's door is the access to the cargo area which is the largest of this vehicle class with 550litres.

The coffin room has a ground from stainless steel, light is given here by halogen lamps. The curtains are directly at the windows and thus do not extend into the coffin room."

The lengthened A6 (turning diameter 12,2m/40feet!) weighs in at 1930kg (4255pounds) with a driver and full fuel tank. Load levelling is surely a good idea with a car that may weigh up to 2340kg/5159pounds. An A6 loaded with one or two heavy oak coffins that sits low in the rear certainly would not look very elegant.
